Be VicTorieus Foundation

Our Mission:

The mission of Be VicTORIEus Foundation is to provide mentorship to young people, especially to those with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) to reach their educational and career goals.

Our Vision:

The foundation's goal is to help young people overcome the challenges they face due to ACEs and achieve their full potential. The foundation provides a variety of services, including mentoring, tutoring, and financial assistance. It also offers workshops and training programs to help young people develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in their careers. The VicTORIEus Foundation is committed to helping young people break the cycle and achieve their dreams

Our Purpose:

To provide a safe and supportive mentorship program for children who have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) providing members with the mentorship and guidance they need to develop healthy coping mechanisms, build resilience, and achieve their full potential.

Children who have experienced ACEs are at an increased risk for a variety of negative outcomes, including mental health problems, substance abuse, and risky behaviors. We can help to mitigate the effects of ACEs and provide children with the tools they need to thrive.

● Such an environment should be characterized by:

   ○ Caring and compassionate adults who are available to listen to children and provide support.

   ○ A predictable and structured environment that provides children with a sense of security.

   ○ Opportunities for children to develop healthy coping mechanisms and build resilience.

Children who have experienced ACEs often lack the skills and resources they need to cope with the challenges they face. Mentorship and guidance can help children to develop healthy coping mechanisms, build resilience, and achieve their full potential.

● Such support can come from a variety of sources, including:

    ○ Parents or guardians

    ○ Teachers

    ○ Counselors

    ○ Peer mentors

By providing a safe and supportive environment and access to mentorship and guidance, we can help children who have experienced ACEs to overcome the challenges they face and achieve their full potential.
